Halfmoon - Wanderlust Whistler Essentials

From Ayurvedic workshops to acro-yoga and dance parties, we'll be right there with you at Wanderlust Whistler. Here's our list of must-haves to make the most of your festival experience.

Travel Mat
A lightweight and versatile mat like our travel mat will take you from one class to the next and be your home base for the weekend. This customer favourite is simple to roll or fold up and is a breeze to carry around.

Mat Carry Strap
Quick and easy, our carry strap will have you on your way in no time. Plus, you can use it as a prop in class—the carry strap doubles as yoga strap to give you more reach and a deeper stretch.

Mat Towel
A towel is great for concerts on the grass, a hot yoga practice and drying off after a refreshing stand up paddleboarding session. Planning on continuing the fun after the festival? A mat towel also functions as the perfect camping towel.

Mable Sweater
Whistler gets chilly at night. It’s that crisp mountain air. Stay cozy at main stage performances with a warm sweater like this one from Lolë.

Water
Hydration is key!!! There will be plenty of water stations, but make sure you bring your own bottle. Bonus: add some pizzazz to your water with sliced lemon or cucumber.

Sunscreen
Pack a travel size sunscreen and reapply often. Don’t let a bad sunburn ruin your weekend!

Journal
Jot down things you've learned after class or during lectures. You’ll want to reflect on your time after the festival is over. We stuck a map of Whistler to the front of our journal for easy navigation from your hotel to class.

Look out for us at Wanderlust Whistler next weekend. Come by our booth at the Kula Marketplace in the Convention Centre and follow our Instagram stories for daily giveaways. We hope to see you there!

Massage Therapy is an easy and feel good modality that helps treat soft tissue trauma in our body. This can be as microscopic as an adhesion in our skeletal muscle tissue that is causing pain, referral pain or a headache, and as obvious as a muscle stuck in contracture that causes what we refer to as a knot that seems to roll under your touch. We put our bodies through a lot, and physical stress like working out or even the physical stress from our jobs (whether it’s sitting all day or moving), as well as mental and emotional stress, can store itself in our bodies as tension.

As our beaches and parks get shut down, the preciousness of nature seems even more important. If anything will keep us sane and healthy right now it is the forests, the trees and the wide-open seas. My hope is that we always take the time to observe the beauty of nature. Even if we are locked inside, we can still look up at the clouds and the stars; and see the immense beauty that we are a part of. We can feel the gift of the green leafy trees in every breath we take.
